Parisian

Parisian was founded in 1919.

Our story begins on a train journey across America; a voyage in search of a new idea. A chance encounter led to the discovery of a novel construction for what became the modern tie. Our founder sketched the pattern on his napkin and tucked it in his pocket, where it travelled with him back home to New Zealand. From this sketch, his eldest daughter Ruby sewed our first Parisian tie.
As the company has passed down through four generations of family custody, so has the spirit of exploration and values of craft, quality and care. Over the decades, we have honed our skills in making ties and belts to now also bring you a collection of considered leather goods.
Our workrooms sit perched on the edge of Myers Park in the heart of Auckland, where today, we continue to turn raw materials into lasting pieces that will journey through life with you.
