ILSE JACOBSEN
Ilse Jacobsen, entrepreneur, creative director and designer, founded ILSE JACOBSEN HORNBÆK with a shoe line in 1993. Since then the company has grown rapidly and now also sells the iconic rain boots, rainwear, clothing and accessories.
Ilse Jacobsen was born and raised in Hornbæk, a summer village, famous for the relaxing atmosphere around its small harbor, wide sandy beaches and dunes. Hornbæk is the background for the Danish designer Ilse Jacobsen's life and creativity.
