Nice Things was created by husband and wife team Paloma Santaolalla and Miguel Lanna in their Barcelona home in 1995. Their aim was to create a small family-run fashion and accessories brand, designing garments and prints to give shape to their particular vision of fashion, aimed at creatively sensitive women who appreciate attention to detail.

They wanted to create a universe where "nice things" happen: from warm working relationships, hand-drawn prints, unique colour combinations, proximity to manufacturers, close relationships with customers and ethical production processes.
